KIPP REMOTE

Secure locking and operating

from a distance

With this new REMOTE product line, KIPP is expanding its portfolio to include solutions for applications where operating elements are not directly accessible. The focus is on indexing plungers, releases and snap locks, which can be connected to each other via Bowden cables.

REMOTE is particularly suitable for machine and equipment construction, swivelling and rotating devices and special vehicle construction. Functions such as opening hatches, locking covers or indexing to defined positions can be operated safely and ergonomically from a distance.

Mechanical remote control flexibly implemented

Power is transmitted purely mechanically via Bowden cables. This means that the operating point can be freely positioned - even with tight installation spaces or areas that are difficult to access. Several locking mechanism can be centrally actuated using just one operating part. Conversely, one function can also be actuated via two independent operating elements.

The Bowden cable can be adapted to the required length during installation, enabling flexible solutions without the need for complex special designs.

Expansion for automated applications

In addition to mechanical REMOTE solutions, KIPP also offers pneumatic indexing plungers with end feedback. They are used where manual operation is not possible or not desired. The pin is actuated by compressed air, while an integrated sensor reports the current switched status to the system control.
